The rebuilt Nsya Lodge & Camp home page: a lantern-lit safari tent at night under the headline “Where the Rift Valley exhales”.

01 · Challenge

Nsya Lodge & Camp sits ten minutes from the Lake Manyara park gate, on the northern safari circuit. Its website had not kept up. The browser tab and the Google result both read “Welcome to Nysa Lodge”, with the name misspelled. The page was a fixed 1,050-pixel layout with no mobile setting, so guests on a phone had to pinch and drag to read it. The footer said 2013, the only award badge was from 2015, and a link shared on WhatsApp showed no photo, no name and no description. To a traveller comparing three lodges, it looked like a property that might have closed.

02 · Strategy

A light repair was considered first. Our review found that the old layout could not be made to read on a phone by patching it, so we said so and recommended a rebuild instead, organised around the three kinds of guest the lodge actually hosts (safari travellers, long-stay guests and volunteers) and around one action: sending an enquiry. Everything on the site had to be true and working on day one, so placeholder reviews, a language switcher with no translations and a newsletter form that stored nothing were all removed rather than left in for show.

03 · Execution

  • Seven-page structure: Home, Rooms, Experiences, Dining & Services, Long Stays, Volunteer, Contact
  • Four room pages for the cottages and safari tents, with a new campsite section
  • An enquiry form that sends by email or WhatsApp, with every button on the site opening the right enquiry type
  • New page titles, descriptions, headings, share-preview tags and lodging structured data on every page
  • A colour palette drawn from the lodge’s new logo, and photography supplied by the owners
  • Live Google and TripAdvisor reviews in place of placeholder testimonials
  • Redirects from 16 old page addresses so existing links and search results still arrive
  • Upload to the lodge’s own hosting, checked file by file against the approved build

04 · Outcome

The lodge is now found under its own name, reads properly on a phone, shows a photograph and a description when its link is shared, and gives a guest a working way to ask about dates. The site went live on 3 October 2026.
